The purpose of the society is to investigate and reserve for future generations any kind of historical records, documents, site buildings, articles, oral histories and artifacts pertaining to Owyhee County, to provide a library and museum complex, to promote interests in and a concern for Owyhee County history.    

Museum Hours: Tue – Sat 10a.m. to 4:00 p.m. October- April and 10a.m.-5p.m. May – September.

The Library and Archives are available through appointment only.
