Mark your calendars for December 2nd, 2023 for the annual Owyhee County Museums Christmas Bazaar and Charlie Brown Tree Sale! Come snow or shine the museum will be selling fresh cut pine trees from Silver City. Inside the Museum local craft vendors will have all kinds of holiday goods.

The trees will be located behind the Museum in the official tree lot. At 10am trees will go on sale. All trees will be marked with prices and transaction’s will take place in the Gift Shop.

Join the Owyhee County Museum for the annual Spring Bazaar and MRW Chili cook off. There will be lots of craft vendors from all over and the Museum will be open for all to enjoy.

MRW will host their chili cook off outside the museum at noon.

The event takes place on the last Saturday of the month. March 30th, 2024.

Cruise on out to the Owyhee County Museum for our annual Ice Cream Social. Bring your classic ride to display on the Museums lawn.
Join us for delicious ice cream and goodies. This is the event where we thank all the volunteers who have helped the museum throughout the year and award the Volunteer Appreciation Award to a special dedicated person.
Event takes place on third Friday of July.
Join the Owyhee County Museum on Friday November 15th, 2024 at 6:00pm as the Museum kicks off the Christmas Season with horse drawn carriage rides, food and of course the tree lighting. Dinner begins at 6pm and the
Murphy Christmas Tree will be lit at 7pm!
This year the kitchen is cooking up something great! There will also be hot drinks and donuts to enjoy around a roaring fire. If you would like to help with this event in anyway please let us know. There will also be Player Piano music in the hall and the whole museum decorated from top to bottom. Horse drawn carriage rides are provided by Owyhee Express Carriage CO. and will be free to the public all night long.
