Idaho Wild West Seminar

February 15 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

The Idaho Wild West Seminar will take place at the Owyhee County Museum on February 15th from 9am to 3:30pm. there is no charge for the event.

The agenda includes:
Joe Hickey presenting weapons of the old West.
The Fort Boise Garrison presenting a history of Fort Boise that will include a display of authentic uniforms of the time.
Marie Clyne will talk about the attire and customs of frontier women.

Les Sweeny will present a history of southern Owyhee County to include the 45 Ranch, the shooting at Bull Creek and the trail of the Winnemucca bank robbers.

Bill Betenson, the great nephew of Butch Cassidy, and Mike Hanley will discuss the involvement of Cassidy group in the robbery of the Winnemucca Bank.

Max Black will be presenting a program in the Owyhee County Diamondfield Hoax of 1890s.
